Founded by Mr. Thierry Zomahoun, the NEF Foundation is global that connects sciencee, innovation, industry and policy in Africa with the goal to leverage science for human development and promote the socio-economic and industrial transformation of emerging economies drawing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). NEF Foundation organizes global gatherings every two years, conferences, roundtables, public engagement campaigns and publishing of research and policy contents. The NEF Foundation works to strengthen research and innovation capacity in Africa and build a strong community of scientists. NEF Foundation awards and recognizes top young African scientists under 42 every two years.
