Wax preparations useful alone, or with other waxes, in various applications of waxes, including use as an impregnant in leather packings a plasticizer for water and oil resistant greases; as a lubricant in calendaring, extreme pressure and high temperature operations, in wire drawing, powder metallurgy pressing, and in dental waxes, rubber and other plastics; and as a mold release, anti-blocking and anti-tack agent for incorporation into various polymerizable materials including thermoplastic materials; as an anti-static agent for vinyl, styrene and cellulose plastics; for water-proofing fabric mold liners, enhancing the moisture, heat resistance and non-tack properties of lacquer and synthetic resin impregnated materials; enhancing the water, salt spray, and acid resistance of paints, varnishes, lacquers, cable fillers, insulation coatings, condenser heat sealants, and asphalt, and the pigment suspension, flowout, and anti-mar properties of paints, varnishes and lacquers; as a resist or stop off on metal articles to be plated or etched; and to raise the softening point and lower the viscosity of asphalt; and as a filler for pin-holes in metals and spray metal coatings.
