Computer software for the modeling of land-based and offshore metallic infrastructure protected by impressed current or sacrificial anode protection systems and calculation of the resulting DC voltages and currents, accounting for effects of stray currents from external sources such as HVDC electrodes, DC rail traction systems and foreign cathodic protection systems. The software determines the level of corrosion control provided by a structure's protection system, accounting for the metal/electrolyte polarization curve. This software, which is designed for both offshore and land-based applications, also resolves soil resistivity measurements into equivalent layered soil structures. The software can also be used to study AC energizations of buried metallic systems.
