Classification Information

Class [041]
Providing an online educational service that uses dreaming to promote higher-brain function, higher-learning, creative-thinking, rehabilitating cognitive-atrophy in episodic, semantic, spatial memory regions of the hippocampus, prefrontal lobes and sensory regions known to repurpose sensory semantic replay through dreaming in the Somatosensory System, the primary somatosensory cortex, the central sulcus, primary gustatory cortex, the olfactory cortex the calcarine sulcus and occipital lobe, and the primary auditory cortex and rehabilitating cognitive atrophy in higher-learning regions of the prefrontal cortex for better mental health and wellness by providing a training system that looks at the semantic language of dreaming as a form of higher-cognitive function to enable people to program, control, shape dream content using episodic and semantic memory consolidation replay as the mechanism where waking life experiences are played back as episodic and semantic memory in the form of dream content. It is well established that dreams are a reconstruction of waking life experiences and can be influenced negatively by waking life influences such as watching a horror movie is self-evident in causing nightmares were watching a positive movie can have similar but positive results. In this case, we use influences of entertainment genres such as video games, movies, and books and even music to provide a story narrative to that is fun, entertaining and engaging for people who may suffer from conditions such as sleeper's paralysis, nightmares, night terrors to become a positive source of episodic and semantic replay while addressing the underlying neurological factors of negative self-image, stress, anxiety, fear and other neurological and physiological problems that arise from over-stimulating the primal survival mechanism that deals with fear and terror where such repeat replay causes enlargement of the emotional memory center of the brain known as the Amygala and causes atrophy in the long-term memory region of the hippocampus causing shrinkage and atrophy leading to long-term memory loss and developmental issues with the Prefrontal cortex resulting in a loss of creative thinking and can lead to developmental issues such as depression, anxiety, and deeper issues. As cognitive atrophy with regards to dreaming becomes more problematic with a developmental brain like any language skill, the course is engineered for young adults ages 18 years and older for adults who have an underdeveloped dreaming brain ie atrophy in the same regions where people who participate and develop dreaming as a skill have better metacognition and neural pathways and neuron development through repeat stimulation of repurposed regions of the brain that present dream experiences as a positive event. The courses are a zero-tolerance drug-free and belief-neutral, gender-neutral system that does not infringe on a persons social, political and religious beliefs by simply providing tested methods and training to promote more positive and rewarding dream experiences by using a skill orientated system where people immerse in a positive experience and learn how this process replays during sleep in the form of a dream. We provide scientific fMRI evidence that dreaming if developed for positive and rewarding night-time narratives and stories is actually beneficial for art, creative writing, music, problem-solving, innovation and are only harmful when linked to substance-induced nightmare syndrome (ie in conjunction with mind-altering drugs) and back that up with scientific research as to promote drug-free dreaming as this is becoming a mainstream method due to many youtube channels promoting drug use for an already existing natural neurological process that everyone has since birth. All mammals and even some birds have dreams as a natural part of memory consolidation for developing long-term memory. Humans have 3-5 dreams every night during specific stages of REM sleep and will have this naturally occurring process from birth until they complete their life-cycle. As dreaming is universal among humans, mammals and some birds wrapping this natural process into some type of dangerous cult-like practice or belief is everything these courses are engineered to prevent by taking the self-evident fact that dreams are just dreams, a natural form of episodic and semantic memory replay influenced from waking life experiences as part of the brains natural memory consolidation during sleep. Nothing mystical and magical about this natural process that many seem to believe. It's just nature's way of storing memory. We back that with scientific research from actual neurological studies on dreams and teach how having a pre-sleep plan can result in fun, exciting and entertaining dreams at night. We turn dreams into an Art Form and an Entertainment System by better coaching of how to dream through positive waking life influences to combat nightmares, unpleasant dreams and better mental health and teach how substance-induced nightmares are a real mental-health issue linked to drug culture and not a natural part of everyone's nightly dreaming processes. There is a right way to dream, just by going to sleep and having them naturally. And a wrong way to dream, by using drugs and stimulants to force them as cognitive atrophy often stunts the dreaming process in underdeveloped dreamers who then seek alternative methods to jack back the dream experience in unsafe practices that can lead to substance-induced nightmares and all sorts of health issues linked to repeat drug use. Instead of watching horror movies and having nightmares, we show how alternative fun influences of a person's choice be it a fun video game, a movie genre or a novel can have the same result. We do not tell people what to dream, so they pick the source material that they want to dream in. The courses teach how to swap out nightmares for these more fun alternative influences using the same skills we use to learn a new language, play the piano, paint or develop muscles through healthy diet and exercise but with our natural ability to dream treating it as a skill orientated practice were having a simple plan before sleep can make all the difference in shaping the resulting episodic and semantic replay in the form of dreams. Our trademark is Dreaming for Games and the website dreamingforgamers.com, and the many courses provided (13 and more in development ). As of this date, no one has compiled a comprehensive package on how to turn video games, movies and novels as source material to promote fun replay as a better dreaming system and how this does indeed turn dreaming into a type of Art Form and Entertainment System if approached with these simple self-evident practices of controlling and eliminating the negative influences in waking life ie horror movies, or worse drug use for positive and fun ones using VR, Games, Movies, Books as the source material. As the author and dream researcher, I have time-stamped dream journal entries showing that I have extensively used this system since 1998 before any research supported it (emerged in 2001 and 2004 and is now becoming popular from an article I published in 2018 called Genre Specific Dreaming). As other people are now starting to repurpose my material it's time to lock it down and trademark it.
