Services of a cultural, social, atlantic and educational nature, namely: to reunite in a single corporation all those persons originating from that certain region of Italy known as the Abruzzi, or whom are married persons from the Abruzzi, and who now presently reside and domicile in the province of Quebec, regardless of their religious or politic beliefs; to promote the education of its sons and daughters, and to provide bursaries and scolarships for same, and to educate its members in their duties to Canada, and to their obligations to the corporation; to encourage and promote the cultural, athletic and social development of all of its members, and to aid them in integrating into the life of the province of Quebec, by all means at its disposal; to promote a feeling of unity and solidarity amongst its members, organizing activities to this end, and encouraging, developing and fostering all links and contracts with Italy in general, and the Abruzzi in particular; to help by means of contributions those members who are in need, either through sickness or accident, and to provide for their families in case of the death of any member; to promote and increase the welfare of its members, to maintain those links with the rest of the Italian community in the province of Quebec, and to aid and assist in the general welfare of Italians in the province of Quebec, and to aid and assist in the general welfare of Italians in the province of Quebec giving all cooperation to all governmental organizations of every level, the Italian, Canadian or Quebec governments; to maintain contact and links with other members and citizens of the Abruzzi in the rest of Canada, and to form with them a group composed of such corporations.
